Field Sales Representative - Electronic Components

About the role

Arrow Global Components (AGC), part of Arrow Electronics, distributes and provides value-added services for electronic components worldwide. It is looking for a Field Sales Representative in Ballerup, Denmark, to own assigned accounts, build customer relationships and drive growth through frequent site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned accounts, develop relationships and negotiate at all levels with customers
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities, visiting customers regularly
• Grow the business by maximizing Arrow's share, overall profitability and design-in profile, using Field Application Engineers, internal sales, marketing, assets and suppliers
• Promote Arrow's top suppliers while selling across the full product range, prioritizing the largest growth opportunities
• Meet regularly with the Sales Manager to agree and execute actions, and keep track of competitor activity
• Have knowledge of interconnectivity, passive and/or electroconnectivity components
• Drive supplier initiatives, coordinate supplier and Arrow FAE support to maximize new design opportunities, and know the status of each customer's development projects
• Understand Arrow's supply chain solutions

Required profile

• Previous experience in the electronic components industry, including distribution, manufacturing, EMS or OEM environments
• Ability to follow EMS customers as well as industrial ones
• Technical selling mindset and electronics knowledge; an engineer is not required
• Accountability, positive and constructive attitude, project management skills, independence and ability to set priorities
