Project Manager, Regional Support Nordic

About the role

Vattenfall's Business Area Wind, which develops, constructs and operates onshore and offshore wind as well as solar PV and batteries, is looking for a Project Manager in Regional Support Nordic. The role is based at the O&M location in Esbjerg and provides standardized site support to wind farms in the Nordic region. It acts as the single point of contact for internally driven project activities coming from central support functions such as engineering and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure regional project activities, such as WTG planned maintenance and minor corrective actions, are delivered safely and efficiently, especially for offshore operations.
• Coordinate project execution and third parties, and integrate centrally driven projects on site.
• Deliver service packages to site coordinators covering planning, spare parts and documentation.
• Create site-specific documentation (RAMS etc.) and manage key interfaces between site and central support functions.
• Review service reports from contractors and third parties, and liaise with them so that required skills, training and competences are understood before arrival on site.
• Realize portfolio synergies.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering (marine, electrical, mechanical etc.) or experienced wind turbine technician or other technical education.
• Experience in project management, document creation and stakeholder management.
• Relevant experience in the wind business, power generation or operation and maintenance is preferable.
• Fluent Danish and English, written and spoken.
