Junior IT Support Associate

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is looking for a junior IT support associate for its site in Horsens. The role covers local IT support for site users and production-related needs, including handling helpdesk requests, troubleshooting and coordinating with global IT teams. It is a fixed-term position of 9 months, with possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Handle helpdesk requests and resolve outages by phone, Teams and Jira, escalating issues when needed
• Support existing and new projects affecting the site, including network, infrastructure and software
• Provide local IT support for MES production systems, LAN servers and networks, and install software and prepare user equipment such as computers, printers, scanners and mobile phones
• Take part in weekly IT meetings and work according to security procedures, SOPs and quality standards
• Join the shift roster outside normal hours and handle production-related problems remotely or on site

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in computer science, IT or similar, or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of IT support experience with hardware, software, user equipment and local infrastructure
• Experience supporting MES or other production systems is an advantage
• Fluent Danish and good spoken, reading and written English

Required skills

• Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, SCCM and general Microsoft environment support
• Cisco, Fortinet, VMware vSphere, Veeam, Apple JAMF and similar technologies
• Service desk tools and incident/service request handling, preferably in Jira
• Problem-solving, analysis and collaboration with local users and global teams

What we offer

• Annual base pay of DKK 440,400 to 560,500 depending on experience and qualifications
