IT Security Engineer

About the role

JYSK is looking for an IT Security Engineer to strengthen its security operations and protect its business across a wide range of technologies. The role sits in a collaborative team focused on modern tools and methods, with a strong emphasis on personal and professional development through structured learning and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and improve the security tool stack
• Run post-incident reviews so lessons learned improve security configurations
• Develop, tune and maintain detection use cases, SIEM/SOAR rules and alerting mechanisms
• Drive automation of security processes to speed up incident response and cut manual effort
• Build and maintain SOAR playbooks, scripts and integrations with security tools
• Streamline workflows and improve efficiency in Security Operations
• Provide technical expertise during incidents, including log analysis, root cause investigation and remediation support

Required profile

• Hands-on experience developing XDR and EDR security technologies
• Understanding of network protocols, endpoint and server behaviours and threat detection methodologies
• Good knowledge of incident response processes and security frameworks
• Experience with scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python, bash)
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their security monitoring tools
• Annual travel of up to 20 days expected
