Junior Associate, IT Support

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is looking for an IT professional to join its Horsens site as service desk support for site users and production-related needs. The role handles service requests, incident resolution and troubleshooting, and coordinates with global IT teams to support site operations and project delivery. It is a fixed-term 9-month position with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Handle service requests and incident resolution for the Horsens site, responding by phone, Teams calls and Jira tickets and escalating when needed.
• Work with global IT teams on projects affecting the site, including network, infrastructure and software activities.
• Support MES production systems, LAN servers and network, and install and deploy end-user devices such as computers, printers, scanners and mobile phones.
• Take part in weekly team calls and on-call rotations for remote or on-site incident resolution.
• Follow security protocols, SOPs and quality standards, and keep documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of IT support experience covering hardware, software, user devices and site infrastructure; manufacturing or production support experience is a plus.
• Fluent Danish and good working English.

Required skills

• Active Directory, Azure, SCCM and Microsoft environments.
• Cisco, Fortinet, VMware vSphere, Veeam, Apple JAMF and similar technologies.
• MES or production system support, and service desk tools such as Jira.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Microsoft, Cisco or vSphere certification is a plus.
