Financial Data Management Consultant

About the role

Netcompany Banking Services delivers IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries, with a cloud-based core banking platform used by more than 50 Nordic banks. As a Financial Data Management Consultant, you will join a team that helps customers turn data into actionable insights, working at the intersection of technology and finance. The work involves developing technical solutions to collect, process, model, analyse and visualise data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, model and build data structures such as databases
• Structure and collect data from various sources
• Implement financial business logic on data for use in reporting
• Provide customer advisory, strategy work and business analysis together with customers
• Develop reports for business users with a focus on the front end

Required profile

• Newly graduated or up to a couple of years of relevant experience in finance and data management, preferably from a bank, asset manager or similar
• Logical approach to complex financial data and challenges
• Interest in or experience with ETL and database technologies, SQL, Python and R, and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken)
• Interest in the financial sector, including regulatory reporting in banking
