Strategic Communication & Graphic Design Consultant (CAPACITY Programme)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a consultant to lead strategic communication and graphic design activities for the CAPACITY Programme in Copenhagen. Working under the Programme Manager, the consultant will create and adapt communication products that enhance programme visibility and support donor and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine strategic communication materials, including presentations, reports, flash updates, and dashboards.
• Design graphic assets that align with IOM branding and programme objectives.
• Consolidate existing programme content and adapt it for diverse audiences such as donors, government partners, and senior IOM leadership.
• Collaborate with IOM Denmark staff, country offices, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and relevance of communication outputs.
• Support senior‑level advocacy and donor engagement through tailored visibility and reporting products.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communication and graphic design, preferably within international development or UN‑related contexts.
• Strong ability to translate complex programme information into clear, compelling visual and textual formats.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams across regions.
