Senior Manager, Customer HSE & Strategic Partnerships

About the role

Maersk is seeking a senior leader to drive strategic Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) engagement with selected global key customers across Logistics & Services. The role positions HSE as a differentiator, translating Maersk's capabilities into tangible customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic HSE partnerships with global key customers and support executive‑level engagements.
• Develop customer‑facing HSE value propositions, thought‑leadership materials and executive presentations.
• Establish governance, escalation and decision‑making frameworks for managing strategic customer HSE requirements.
• Coordinate significant customer HSE commitments and ensure cross‑functional alignment.
• Leverage data analytics and AI‑enabled tools to identify emerging customer needs, trends and risks.
• Continuously develop HSE compliance and risk management clauses within contracts and supplier standards.

Required profile

• Strategic, commercially minded leader with strong HSE expertise.
• Proven experience engaging senior stakeholders in complex, global, matrixed organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to create governance frameworks, policies and escalation processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and executive communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems.
• Experience with Power BI, business intelligence platforms, data mining and advanced reporting tools.
• Familiarity with digital, analytical and AI‑enabled tools for decision‑making and customer engagement.
