Principal Enterprise Architect

About the role

Celonis is looking for a senior architect who can translate C‑level strategic goals into concrete technical solutions. You will partner with sales, value engineering, product, data‑ops and security teams to remove technical blockers and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define overall architecture, data and cloud strategy for the largest client accounts, focusing on enterprise modernization and capability mapping.
• Present technical road‑maps to C‑level executives and align them with Celonis’ platform strategy.
• Identify and design innovative solutions that leverage emerging technologies such as Agentic AI.
• Bridge Celonis product and engineering teams with client technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Assess IT landscape maturity, guide consulting teams and ecosystem partners on integration, performance and scalability.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience as a software‑vendor architect, CTO, or enterprise architect.
• Proven ability to connect technical solutions to business value and communicate complex concepts to senior executives.
• Strong background in data architecture, integration patterns and automation.
• MSc in Computer Science or related field; fluency in English (Swedish or Danish a plus).

• Capability Mapping and Enterprise Modernization.

• Cloud‑native architectures and SaaS platforms.
• ERP systems (especially SAP) and CRM solutions (Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceNow).
• Cybersecurity fundamentals and API ecosystem design.
• Data Architecture, SQL, Python and integration technologies.
