Senior Value Engineer

About the role

Senior Value Engineer at Celonis, leading AI‑driven business transformation for pharmaceutical customers. You will combine technical execution with consulting and project management to deliver end‑to‑end value using the Celonis Context Model.

Key responsibilities

• Value Selling & Realization – uncover issues, own outcomes from discovery to ROI and craft executive narratives.
• Stakeholder Management – build executive sponsorship, co‑own change management and design CoE roadmaps.
• Program Management – steer global transformations, implement AI‑driven account planning and automate governance.
• Platform & AI Fluency – act as an AI‑fluent operator, use AI tools for rapid outputs and champion platform adoption.
• Scale Value & Innovation – create expansion roadmaps, embed Celonis as a strategic platform and feed R&D with use‑case feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Value Engineering, Consulting or Pre‑Sales managing complex workstreams.
• Strong background in enterprise IT and business software (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle).
• Builder mentality with a focus on delivering customer value and proactive solution ideation.
• Proven expertise in process improvement and value realization.
• Demonstrated ability to orchestrate multi‑region transformation programs and secure VP/Director‑level sponsorship.
• Deep knowledge of Finance/Supply Chain domains and pharmaceutical industry trends.
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a Business/Economics degree with a technical minor.
