Placement Analyst, Corporate Banking – Copenhagen

About the role

Citi is recruiting a Placement Analyst for its Corporate Banking team in Copenhagen, with a January 2027 start. The 6-month placement analyst program introduces you to the fundamentals of the analyst role and to Citi's culture, and successful candidates may be considered for a full-time position after graduation. The salary range is stated as 464,000 to 696,000 DKK.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling and capital markets analysis
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis
• Liaise with product partners
• Assist in presenting and developing new ideas for clients
• Structure deals

Required profile

• Penultimate or final year of university, or graduated
• Expected grade of 10 or above (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any discipline
• Interest in business and fluency in English and a Nordic language (Norwegian, Danish, Swedish or Finnish)
• Dedication to learning, a passion for the business and a global view of banking
• Commitment to personal growth, teamwork, strong communication, planning and organisational skills, and integrity
