AI-enabled Decision Making for Product Portfolio Optimization (Master Thesis)

About the role

Through Coloplast’s Master Thesis Program you will combine academic research with hands‑on experience in a global healthcare company. The project focuses on using AI, advanced analytics and digital solutions to simplify and reduce complexity of Coloplast’s product portfolio within Global Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify leading frameworks, metrics and best practices for managing product portfolio complexity in manufacturing environments.
• Assess Coloplast’s current landscape, evaluating complexity drivers and the maturity of data, processes and digital capabilities.
• Explore the potential of AI, advanced analytics and automation to support portfolio simplification.
• Develop actionable recommendations, including required capabilities, organisational and technological enablers, and roadmap considerations.
• If feasible, design a proof‑of‑concept, analytical model or AI‑enabled prototype to support optimisation decisions.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Business, Management, Analytics or related master’s programme.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
