Master Thesis: AI in Global Operations

About the role

Coloplast’s Master Thesis Program offers final‑year master students the chance to combine academic research with hands‑on experience in a global healthcare company. You will work within the Digitalization Team of Global Operations, focusing on applying AI technologies to improve regulated medical device production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current AI initiatives and identify major AI opportunities for the Global Operations function.
• Assess obstacles that may limit AI integration, including documentation, transparency and risk‑management challenges.
• Develop recommendations to manage “black‑box” AI elements while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Define guiding principles for Coloplast’s AI roadmap and balance stakeholder expectations with industry realities.

Required profile

• Master’s student in engineering, computer science, business analytics or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a passion for applying AI to operational processes.
• Customer‑centric mindset and ability to navigate technical and regulatory environments.
