Product Development Project Manager

About the role

Lead product development that turns ambitious ideas into robust, manufacturable medical devices improving people’s lives. As a Product Development Project Manager you will own the product development workstream within cross‑functional R&D projects, translating scope into executable plans and delivering high‑quality technical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product development workstream from early concept through design verification, design transfer and launch readiness.
• Translate project scope into clear deliverables, milestones, dependencies and decision points.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team across relevant product development disciplines.
• Manage workstream risks, issues and critical dependencies while ensuring timely decisions.
• Partner with Manufacturing Development to integrate design for manufacturing and readiness activities.
• Communicate progress, risks and recommendations to the wider project organization.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience leading technical or product‑development projects in an R&D environment.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, design, innovation or a related technical discipline.
• Proven ability to take products through concept, detailed development, verification and transfer to manufacturing.
• Strong capabilities in project planning, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder communication.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; experience in medical devices or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
