Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our finance function at Struers’ headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. You will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and a team of five accounting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting for Struers ApS and its international entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, corporate policies and SOX requirements.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.
• Implement best practices in credit management and invoice‑to‑cash processes, working closely with commercial teams.
• Coordinate tax reporting with Indicor Tax and manage cash and banking operations with Indicor Treasury.
• Oversee annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and provide cost‑controlling support, including accurate accounting of COGS and inventory.
• Lead and develop the Danish accounting team of five full‑time employees.
• Ensure timely payroll processing and continuously improve financial and administrative procedures.
• Participate in global Finance Matrix Team initiatives.

Required profile

• High integrity and strong technical accounting expertise.
• Proven ability to lead a high‑performance finance team.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
