Principal Developer - Frontend

About the role

Join Coloplast’s diverse development team to lead the effort of building and maintaining the front‑ends of our CMS and commerce websites for the Chronic Care program. You will own the frontend architecture, shape the digital roadmap, and ensure high‑quality code delivery for global users.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the frontend architecture for the Chronic Care eCommerce platform.
• Set technical direction together with other development leads and prevent technical debt.
• Lead major rewrites, refactorings, and keep frontend packages secure and up‑to‑date.
• Ensure optimal user experience and accessibility compliance (EAA, ADA).
• Align with backend leads for seamless integration and co‑own the design system to maintain brand consistency.

Required profile

• 10+ years of frontend development experience in a highly regulated, large‑scale environment.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor other frontend developers on sizable teams.
• Strong eye for visual design, UX, and accessibility.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical challenges to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience handling complex codebases and staying current with frontend trends.
