Senior Digital Advisory Manager

About the role

NTU International, an international consulting firm delivering programme management and advisory services for development projects, is looking for a Senior Digital Advisory Manager to support business development, technical proposal preparation and the implementation of digital consultancy assignments. The role is based at the NTU office in Aalborg, Denmark, and can also be done remotely within the European Union.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess ICT advisory, digital transformation and technology consultancy opportunities under EU framework contracts and international programmes.
• Analyse Terms of Reference, technical specifications, institutional context, deliverables and technical feasibility.
• Assess staffing, delivery arrangements and commercial viability, and contribute to bid/no-bid decisions.
• Lead technical methodologies, work plans, resource estimates and staffing arrangements, and translate ICT requirements into activities, deliverables and budgets.
• Work with the bid and finance teams to prepare compliant technical and financial submissions.
• Manage awarded ICT advisory and transformation projects, coordinating experts and subcontractors, and monitor deliverables, schedules, budgets and quality.
• Contribute to positioning, new services, partnerships, the commercial pipeline and project references.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in ICT advisory, digital transformation or technology consulting.
• Demonstrated experience preparing technical proposals for public-sector ICT consultancy and managing ICT consultants, technical specialists and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of ICT systems, software platforms, system integration and public-sector digital transformation.
• Strong project management, analytical, organisational, communication and negotiation skills, with commercial awareness and independence.
• Fluent spoken and written English (minimum C1); working knowledge of French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with DG DIGIT, European Commission services or EU agencies, and with HACS, BEACON or comparable EU ICT advisory contracts, including reopening-of-competition procedures.
• Established European network of senior ICT experts and specialist technology firms.
• Familiarity with EU digital policy, AI governance, cybersecurity, data protection and interoperability standards.
• Experience with EU-funded assignments, EIB, World Bank or other international financial institutions.
