Senior Client Executive – Risk Management (Large & Complex)

About the role

Marsh Risk Management Team is growing and is hiring a Senior Client Executive in Insurance to join its Risk Management team in Copenhagen. The role suits someone who understands clients' businesses, exposures and risks and turns that into data-driven, tailored solutions. You will manage a portfolio of complex, often global clients and work closely with the largest specialist broking team in Denmark.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of international clients, balancing new business with retention, satisfaction and account growth.
• Represent Marsh at industry events and conferences to expand your network.
• Identify, analyse and assess potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies for complex, global clients.
• Lead renewal and placement strategies, negotiations and presentations to clients and insurers.
• Work with specialist teams to design the right solutions for each client.
• Pursue new business in your target segments.

Required profile

• Solid track record in insurance, risk advisory or brokerage, ideally with a commercial mindset and day-to-day client management.
• Fluent Danish and English, spoken and written.
• Professional integrity and a strong ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Experience winning new business, plus negotiation and renewal/placement experience.
• Nice to have: experience from a large broker, insurer or in a risk management role handling international, complex risks; bringing data into client conversations; an advanced degree or professional certification in risk management/insurance (IDD licence).
