Senior AI Platform Engineer

About the role

We are building the agentic foundation beneath Maersk’s data and AI platform, enabling engineers to safely build and operate production systems at scale using autonomous agents.

Key responsibilities

• Own platform capabilities from design through production, ensuring reliability, security, performance and cost.
• Leverage an agent fleet to explore codebases, implement solutions, build tests and investigate failures, verifying output through reviews, tests and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with domain teams to turn recurring challenges into reusable tools and platform capabilities.
• Mentor less‑experienced engineers, share best practices for scoping work for agents and validating their results.

Required profile

• Experience shipping agentic systems used by real users and navigating unfamiliar production environments.
• Strong understanding of production engineering, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into parallel, bounded workstreams and make evidence‑backed decisions.

Required skills

• Agent runtimes, orchestration patterns (e.g., Temporal), SDK development.
• Cloud platforms and services: AWS, Databricks, Foundry.
• Infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, observability, distributed systems.
• Identity, authorization, MCP, evaluations and cost‑control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, Dify, ADK and open‑source AI components.
