Sales Assistant - Summer Season

About the role

JD Sports is looking for new team members for its store in Fields, Copenhagen, for the summer season. As a Sales Assistant you will help customers get the best possible service every time they visit the store, contribute to store profitability by exceeding sales targets and using the in-store devices, and join a successful store team.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: greet customers, acknowledge their needs, recommend suitable products and alternatives, inform them about new or future stock, and encourage repeat visits.
• Sales: attend to as many customers as possible, handle several customers at once, know the layout of the stock, follow promotions and presentations, and use selling skills including introducing accessories.
• Visual merchandising: keep the shop floor clean and well-stocked, replenish stock so the full size range is available, price products correctly and keep displays up to date.
• General: follow company rules and dress in the staff uniform, keep stock areas and staff facilities tidy, help with receiving deliveries and shelving stock, and cover for other staff when needed.
