Associate Placement Specialist – Placement

About the role

As Associate Placement Specialist, you support the Sales Executives and contribute to effective, value-creating cooperation between customers, insurers and Marsh colleagues. The role reports to the Portfolio Solutions Leader in Denmark and covers sales support, tendering and market analysis for facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support Sales Executives in preparing sales reports, including assessment of customers' insurance needs
• Prepare offers and benchmarks for existing and new customers
• Analyse Marsh's portfolio to identify optimisation opportunities
• Lead or take part in placement initiatives for facilities, including establishment, tendering and renewal
• Carry out tenders for facilities, including Nordic facilities
• Support the customer team in assessing the insurance market and in renewal and tender strategies
• Help prepare communication material on renewal terms for facility customers
• Work regularly with facility markets: plan meetings, take part in discussions and negotiations, and write minutes
• Contribute to data collection and reporting on market developments, including GIMI reports and market notes
• Take part in IT projects related to facilities

Required profile

• Industry experience as an insurance broker or insurer, with experience of broker-insurer cooperation
• Degree from an insurance academy or at least a bachelor's degree
• Commercial mindset and good negotiation skills
• Analytical, detail-oriented and structured approach, able to keep an overview under pressure
• Good written and spoken Danish and English
• Positive, empathetic, professional and ambitious; takes responsibility and follows through
