Operations Engineer, Infrastructure

About the role

Netcompany is looking for an Operations Engineer in its Infrastructure team in Copenhagen. The team covers Linux, Oracle, Windows, cloud and infrastructure, including networking, servers, backup and storage, and works with public sector and private clients. You will take ownership of your own responsibilities and work on large-scale operational projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of one or more solutions, including monitoring, backup management, scripting and performance tuning of operational platforms.
• Take part in project work such as major upgrades, deployments and transitions.
• Ensure security, troubleshoot issues and optimise system performance.
• Administer and maintain clustered environments.
• In the Infrastructure team, maintain the enterprise LAN environment and manage, improve and govern infrastructure platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, software, IT or a similar field, or an equivalent level of qualification.
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
• Motivated by delivering reliable, high-quality business-critical and mission-critical solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance from the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET).
