Management Consulting Intern - Business Strategy & Transactions

About the role

Ramboll Management Consulting, part of the Ramboll Group, is looking for an intern in its Business Strategy & Transactions service practice in Aarhus, Denmark. The team supports clients across sectors such as energy, transport, infrastructure and construction with strategic insights, M&A advisory and economic modelling. The internship is a full-time commitment of 5 months, from February 1 to June 30, 2027, and is unpaid, though a gratuity may be given under the SU law.

Key responsibilities

• Market assessments covering regulations, competitive dynamics and trends
• Business model development and strategic roadmaps
• Commercial due diligence and transaction support
• Feasibility assessments and strategies for new technologies and products
• Business cases for investment decisions
• Data collection, stakeholder analysis, impact assessments and implementation planning, including research, data and market analysis, presentations, reports and client workshops

Required profile

• Currently studying or about to start graduate studies or relevant higher education (business, economics, sustainability or engineering); must be enrolled in an ongoing programme during the internship
• Top of your class
• Relevant work experience from student jobs, internships or extracurricular activities
• Structured approach with strong analytical and conceptual abilities
• Strategic thinking, high-level abstraction and empathy for the client
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Professional English; Danish is not mandatory but beneficial
• Danish or EU citizenship; applicants from outside the EU without a valid Danish residence permit cannot be considered

Required skills

• Experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Economic modelling and M&A advisory knowledge is welcomed
