Lead Variant Configuration Consultant

About the role

As the Lead Variant Configuration Consultant you will drive design, implementation and optimisation of enterprise‑wide configuration solutions for Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives. You will use your SAP Variant Configuration expertise to create scalable models that link Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, PLM, CPQ and eCommerce processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Variant Configuration projects from strategy through rollout.
• Translate business requirements from product managers and cross‑functional stakeholders into SAP VC models, including Super BOMs, Super Routings and dependency logic.
• Own and evolve the sales configurator domain to enable efficient configuration of complex drive solutions.
• Drive standardisation, governance and process optimisation across the configuration landscape.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance and IT to deliver transformation projects and create business value.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (LO‑VC and/or AVC) for complex products.
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end processes across Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Experience leading complex ERP, configuration or digital transformation initiatives in a global environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with confidence to challenge existing ways of working.
