Inland Supervisor

About the role

APM Terminals is looking for a Supervisor for its Inland team. This is a new role created to strengthen daily coordination, management and communication within the team. You will act as a key link between the team and the responsible manager, supporting and coordinating day-to-day work without personnel responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on daily work so that tasks run on schedule and the team has what it needs
• Act as the main point of contact for colleagues in daily operations
• Ensure clear information sharing between the team and the manager
• Follow up on safety, quality and working methods, and contribute to SQDC and continuous improvement
• Identify challenges and make sure the right actions are taken
• Contribute to the team's ongoing development and improvement work

• Willingness to take on more responsibility and develop toward a leadership role
• Takes ownership and drives tasks forward
• Communicates clearly and constructively, collaborates well and builds good relationships
• Able to motivate others and set direction in daily work
• Decisive and able to balance relationships with the responsibility of the role
• Open to change, development and new ways of working
• Good understanding of the business and how Inland works

Knowledge of Lean and experience with improvement work is an advantage. Applications are submitted through Workday.
