Hardware / Electronic Engineer

About the role

LiNA Medical Denmark is looking for a Hardware / Electronic Engineer to design hardware for its new products and keep legacy products up to date. The role sits in LiNA Innovation, which focuses on new product development and holds the technical files from project start through submission. The position is full-time (37 hours per week) in Copenhagen.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in designing electronic hardware in R&D projects together with external partners and internal colleagues
• Take part in the conceptual phase and identify key competences from a functional perspective with a focus on costs
• Help design the overall hardware architecture for new products
• Write the necessary documentation
• Control and collaborate with suppliers
• Work with testing facilities on approval of new products under the ISO 60601 regulatory standard

Required profile

• Electronic Engineering degree
• At least 3 years of experience
• Experience with product development and sourcing electronic components
• Driven, structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented, able to work both independently and in a team
• English at a level that allows clear communication with all stakeholders; Danish or other languages are a bonus

Required skills

• Preferred: EMC, EMI and testing related to the EN 60601 standard
• Preferred: PCB layout, microprocessor and FPGA hardware, and writing software for microprocessors and FPGAs
• Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other IT systems used for documentation and planning
