Electrical Engineer – Medical Devices

About the role

LiNA Medical Denmark, the R&D unit of an international organisation, is looking for a newly graduated Electrical Engineer to join its product development work. The role sits in LiNA Innovation, which focuses on new product development and holds the technical files from project start through submission. The company develops simple-to-use devices for minimally invasive gynecology.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to final product
• Take part in board bring-up and verification
• Write the necessary documentation
• Collaborate with suppliers
• Work with testing facilities to approve new products against the ISO 60601 regulatory standard

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, BA or Master level
• Newly educated or with only a few years of experience in the field
• Familiar with bring-ups and prototype building
• English at a level that allows clear communication with all stakeholders; Danish or other languages are a bonus
• Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other IT systems used for documentation and planning

Nice to have

• Experience with electronics hardware using microprocessors and FPGAs
• Experience measuring and verifying electronics
• Knowledge of the EN-60601 standard and the medical device industry
