Global Public Affairs Internship (Spring 2027)

About the role

Join Maersk’s Global Public Affairs team for a full‑time internship (Feb‑Jul 2027) at our Copenhagen headquarters. You will support the intersection of business strategy, geopolitics and sustainability, gaining hands‑on experience in policy analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct desk research and deep‑dive analyses on global political and regulatory shifts affecting international trade.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies for senior leadership at forums such as UN Climate Conferences (COP), World Economic Forum and regional Climate Weeks.
• Plan and coordinate high‑level political visits, including logistics, agenda setting and briefing senior managers.
• Draft position papers, strategic frameworks and support ad‑hoc projects that influence Maersk’s global strategy.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a master’s program or final year of a bachelor’s degree in business, political science, economics, international relations or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and written communication skills with a keen interest in political, regulatory and sustainability issues.
• Fluent in English and able to work in an international, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
