Director of Strategy & Operations

About the role

Capture One is creating a new Director of Strategy & Operations role on the Marketing Leadership Team. Reporting to the VP Marketing, you will translate market signals into clear strategy and build the operating model that turns decisions into action.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the marketing strategy, turning company objectives and market evidence into clear priorities.
• Design, implement and continuously improve the planning rhythm, priority setting and portfolio view.
• Develop the marketing technology stack strategy, deciding on investments, consolidations or retirements.
• Partner closely with the VP Marketing to provide strategic support on critical decisions.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of senior‑level experience in strategy, marketing operations, chief‑of‑staff or comparable roles within a scaling software business.
• Proven ability to author strategy papers and redesign planning cadences.
• Strong judgment on AI, automation and tooling leverage.
• Fluent in interpreting customer, commercial and competitive evidence.

Required skills

• Experience with marketing technology platforms and measurement tools.
• Ability to build and manage operating models and planning processes.
