Construction Manager – Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a civil engineering background to lead the delivery of heavy‑civil infrastructure projects in Hillerød, Denmark. The role is site‑based and focuses on tunnels, roundabouts and complex roadworks, ensuring safe, on‑time and on‑budget execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery across tunnel, road and roundabout infrastructure packages.
• Coordinate multiple contractors and monitor progress against detailed schedules.
• Track cost performance in partnership with project controls.
• Provide earned value analysis aligned with site progress and financial data.
• Chair construction and coordination meetings across engineering, EHS and delivery teams.
• Drive collaboration between engineering, safety and delivery functions.
• Ensure works are executed safely, compliantly and to required quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of construction management experience on infrastructure or heavy civil projects (tunnels, roads, transport).
• Proven delivery experience on tunnelling, underground works or major road/roundabout projects.
• Degree in civil engineering.
• Fluent in Danish.
