E-commerce Specialist (Product Catalog & Search)

About the role

As an E‑commerce Specialist at Aceve you will own the way products are displayed and discovered on KlarPris, the company’s B2B price‑comparison marketplace for the construction trade. You will work directly with the search and merchandising platform (Algolia or similar) to ensure that thousands of items from many suppliers are easy to find for plumbers, electricians and other installers.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain product presentation in Algolia – relevance, filtering, ranking and merchandising rules.
• Onboard and structure supplier product data into clear categories and sub‑categories, handling diverse brands and formats.
• Keep the catalog organized as it expands across multiple product types and industries.
• Monitor traffic, conversion and category performance metrics and use insights to improve listings.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve data issues and enhance product listings.
• Work hands‑on – you will build and adjust configurations yourself rather than delegating.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in e‑commerce, digital merchandising or product data/catalog management.
• Proven experience managing large, multi‑supplier product catalogs.
• Comfortable working daily in a search or merchandising tool such as Algolia.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to analyse performance metrics.
• Fluent in English and Danish.
