Job description
About the role
Maersk Air Cargo is looking for a CAMO Base Maintenance Planner and Technical Representative. The role combines detailed base maintenance planning with representing CAMO on site during scheduled maintenance inputs. You will own assigned base maintenance events, including C-Checks, coordinating work scope, materials and technical requirements, then act as the key CAMO interface with the contracted Part-145 maintenance organisation. About 40-60 travel days per year are expected, typically in blocks of 2-5 weeks.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and prepare assigned base maintenance inputs and their work package, ensuring scheduled tasks, ADs, EOs, inspections, modifications and other approved requirements are included.
- Coordinate material, component, rotable and modification-kit availability with Logistics, and align technical scope, schedule and readiness with Engineering, MCC, Technical Records and the selected MRO.
- Support improvements to task cards, maintenance programmes and planning systems, including lessons learned.
- Act as on-site CAMO Technical Representative during assigned checks, monitoring progress, findings, quality indicators, man-hours, material status and schedule risks, and reporting status to CAMO.
- Coordinate technical queries and additional work, approving only within delegated authority and escalating when required.
- Ensure the agreed maintenance scope is completed and documented, and coordinate return-to-operation readiness with iOCC and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain maintenance records, release documentation and system updates until closure.
Required profile
- Minimum of three years' relevant continuing-airworthiness knowledge and practical experience.
- Good working knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO and Part-145, with knowledge of Part-21.
- Understanding of MSG-3 principles, Aircraft Maintenance Programmes and scheduled maintenance planning.
- Experience with aircraft technical manuals such as AMM, IPC, SRM, SSM, FIM, WDM and MEL, as applicable.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills in English, and the ability to work independently within delegated authority.
- Flexibility to travel for extended periods during maintenance inputs.
- Experience or an AML relating to Boeing 767 or Boeing 777 aircraft is advantageous.
