Apprentice - IT Operations (Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure, VMware)

About the role

Netcompany is looking for Data Technician apprentices with 1-2 years left in their studies to join its Operations team in Copenhagen or Aalborg. The team covers business-critical application operations and infrastructure in modern data centres and public cloud, working with Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure or VMware. Apprentices work alongside colleagues, from handling alarms and errors to implementing changes, and may take part in projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Incident management: handling errors reported by systems and customers
• Change management: handling standard changes and project-ordered changes
• Quality initiatives: measures that help deliver, ensure and improve quality
• Windows and Linux server operations
• Maintaining documentation, reporting and deployments

Required profile

• Studying Data Technician with a specialization in infrastructure or programming, preferably combined with a EUX, having completed foundation modules 1 and 2
• Eager to learn and able to work independently and analytically
• Previous apprenticeships (shorter or longer) are not required
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken

Required skills

• Experience with networks, Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure or VMware is not required
