Vision Specialist – Pharmaceutical Production

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is looking for a Vision Specialist for pharmaceutical production in Horsens. The role sits in the Engineering Department and works closely with the other four members of the Vision team, acting as an internal focal point for vision-related projects. The position is onsite, reports to the Vision & Data Team Leader, and is open only to candidates willing to work night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize existing vision inspection systems on the production line and support day-to-day production operations
• Operate, maintain and improve the company's machine vision system
• Analyze data, document and validate processes, and prepare and update Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs)
• Handle incidents and provide education

Required profile

• IT background, or completed training as an engineer or similar
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Fluent Danish and English
• Structured, systematic and independent work style, proactive and able to solve complex issues
• Comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization

Required skills

• Experience configuring and parameterizing vision quality control systems in production is a plus
• Understanding of digital images (pixels, grayscale, deep learning) and of vision system components (PCs, lighting, cameras) is an advantage
• Preferred knowledge of change control, GMP, URS, IQ/OQ/PQ, LEAN, OEE and Six Sigma

• Annual base salary range of DKK 472,648 to DKK 601,552, with possible variable compensation and incentive programs

Shifts are night only, preferably 5 days per week or two 12-hour shifts on the weekend. No relocation is provided.
