Maintenance Technician – Pharmaceutical Production

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is looking for a maintenance technician to ensure stable operations in its production environment. You will work independently during your shift, supported by a team of about 30 colleagues. The training period is approximately 3 to 4 months.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Handle corrective maintenance when breakdowns occur
• Work closely with operators, specialists and engineers

Required profile

• Technical vocational training such as automation technician, aviation mechanic, blacksmith or machinist, with additional mechanical training
• Experience with automation, mechanics, pneumatics, water and steam
• Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance systems
• Pharmaceutical or food production experience preferred; automation/PLC or mechanical punching tool experience preferred
• Basic English is a plus
• Category B driving licence (boiler operator, truck and forklift licences preferred)
