Quality Engineer – QA Operations (Fixed-Term)

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is hiring a Quality Engineer in its QA Operations department in Horsens, Denmark, working alongside the head of QA operations. The team has 15 people and covers both Danish and global QA colleagues, with close contact with production and technical departments. This is a 9-month fixed-term position.

Key responsibilities

• Handle deviations and ensure improvements are implemented
• Take part in root cause analysis and help resolve deviations
• Work closely with production to make sure improvement proposals are carried out
• Approve change requests and validate equipment and processes in production, if you have prior experience
• Decide on product-critical issues and follow up on quality actions
• Support the right quality level of products and develop a quality mindset among colleagues

Required profile

• Chemical engineer, M.Sc. or pharmacist
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry preferred; food or chemical industry experience also relevant
• Experience from GMP production or similar highly regulated industry
• Current experience in a similar role

Required skills

• Good understanding of customer needs and ability to turn them into process solutions
• Ability to work independently, handle several tasks at once and take independent decisions
• Constructive communication and positive attitude

What we offer

• Base annual salary of DKK 503,300 to DKK 640,600, set according to objective criteria
