Vision Specialist – Night Shift

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is looking for a Vision Specialist in its engineering department in Horsens, Denmark. You will optimise existing machine vision inspection systems on the production line and support daily production, working closely with the other four members of the vision team. The position is onsite, with no relocation offered, and is open only to night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and improve the company's existing machine vision systems
• Analyse data and document and validate results
• Prepare and update Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs)
• Handle incidents and train staff

Required profile

• IT background or degree in engineering or similar
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience configuring and parameterising vision quality control systems in production is an advantage
• Fluent Danish and English
• Shift work: either five nights a week (Sunday–Thursday, 22:30–06:00) or two 12-hour weekends (Friday and Saturday, 21:30–10:00)

Required skills

• Interest in IT and understanding of digital images (pixels, grayscale, deep learning)
• Knowledge of vision system components (PCs, lighting principles, camera principles) is an advantage
• Preferred knowledge of Change Control, GMP, URS, IQ/OQ/PQ, LEAN, OEE and Six Sigma

What we offer

• Annual base pay of DKK 472,648 to DKK 601,552, depending on experience and qualifications
