Skilled Mechanical Technician for Process Development and Pilot Equipment

About the role

Coloplast is seeking a versatile mechanical technician to support the development and optimisation of pilot production equipment used in continence and bowel‑care process projects. You will work closely with engineers and specialists to ensure new processes are robust, scalable and ready for high‑volume manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise and develop pilot equipment and supporting tools.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and corrective actions on equipment and components.
• Collaborate with project teams on process improvements and new technical solutions.
• Provide hands‑on support during test runs at machine suppliers in Denmark, Northern Europe and Coloplast’s international sites.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training as an industrial machinist, technician, welder, automotive mechanic or similar.
• Solid hands‑on experience with mechanical work, including machining on manual lathes and milling machines.
• Proactive, curious and motivated to play a central role in development activities.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative environment with both technicians and academic professionals.
