About the role

We are looking for a security guard to work at Vestsjællandscentret, a large shopping centre. The role focuses on creating a safe environment for customers and store employees through visible presence and proactive prevention of disturbances, theft and fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the shopping centre and maintain a visible presence to deter disorder and criminal activity.
• Identify and respond quickly to abnormal behaviour, preventing critical situations from developing.
• Collaborate with store staff and other security personnel to ensure a coordinated approach to safety.
• Report incidents and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Calm, independent and mature individual with natural authority.
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both in Danish (written and spoken) and basic oral English.
• Ability to pass police background checks and meet legal requirements for security personnel.

Required skills

• Completion of the mandatory basic guard course.
• Experience in roles demanding high communication and conflict‑handling abilities.
