Fast Track Police Position – 2‑Year Fixed‑Term Assignment

About the role

The Fast Track programme offers police officers the opportunity to work for two years in a high‑need police district (Sydsjælland & Lolland‑Falster, Bornholm, Greenland or the Faroe Islands) and then return to a preferred district. The position is time‑limited and includes full integration into the local police service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 police coverage, including patrols, citizen contact and response to incidents.
• Handle criminal and administrative case processing with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Participate in on‑call duty rotations and serve as a prosecutor in first‑instance district courts where required.

Required profile

• Completed basic police training and currently qualified as a police officer.
• Interest in handling a wide range of cases and strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining overview and applying new learning.
• Willingness to prioritize at least three districts for post‑assignment placement.

Required skills

• Police procedural knowledge and basic law enforcement competencies.
