Security Guard – University Campus (Odense)

About the role

G4S is looking for a security guard to work on the campus of the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. The role involves 120 hours per month, primarily during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, providing a safe environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the university buildings and surrounding areas, ensuring doors and windows are locked and no unauthorized persons are present.
• Check that fire‑safety equipment and other security installations are intact.
• Drive the patrol vehicle to respond quickly to alarms, suspicious activity or assistance requests.
• Maintain clear communication with students, employees, police and emergency services when needed.

Required profile

• Completed basic security guard training (or police education with possible exemption).
• Flexible schedule, comfortable working evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good physical health and stamina for long periods on foot.
• Responsible and able to work alone or in small teams.
• Basic computer knowledge.
