Senior Financial Controller – Business‑Critical Finance Lead

About the role

Would you like to play a key role in driving high‑quality financial control, governance, and technical accounting across an international Group – with flexibility in how you structure your work? Working on complex and business‑critical topics, including audits, IFRS, acquisitions, and financial reporting, you will influence processes, shape best practices, and strengthen governance frameworks and internal controls across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounting memorandums, supporting key accounting positions.
• Act as contact towards external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
• Own PPA preparation and follow‑up in connection with acquisitions.
• Perform monthly controlling of subsidiaries and key business areas.
• Execute financial reviews and drive follow‑up on identified risks.
• Handle and prepare annual reports for both the Group and the parent company.

Required profile

• Hold an MSc in Business Administration and Auditing (cand.merc.aud.) or a Bachelor of Commerce (HD).
• Have solid experience from a similar role such as auditor, financial controller, risk & control consultant, or operational control & compliance manager.
• May have experience from an accountancy firm (advantageous but not required).
• Possess a deep understanding of financial statements and accounting, including identifying issues and solutions.
• Have strong knowledge of the technical aspects of IFRS.
• Are fluent in English.
