Finance Manager - R&D Performance Management

About the role

Help shape the investment decisions that determine which R&D innovations Coloplast brings to market. As a Finance Manager in R&D Performance Management you will own and develop the financial frameworks used to assess, prioritise and track innovation across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Build and challenge business cases for R&D projects using valuation models, translating market, pricing and cost assumptions into robust assessments.
• Lead the financial assessment at each stage gate, ensuring consistent evaluation of every project.
• Develop sales forecast models for new product launches.
• Support Innovation Performance Analysis and Portfolio Overviews.
• Help develop the Investment Framework and Governance, including capital budgeting principles.
• Partner across R&D, Commercial functions and Global Operations to align assumptions, pressure‑test inputs and support prioritisation trade‑offs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in finance, consulting or a related field.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, decision‑ready recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Enjoy developing financial models.
• Interest in R&D and ability to partner across functions while constructively challenging assumptions.
• Strong personal drive and eagerness to learn.
