Senior Consultant - Operational M&A

About the role

EY-Parthenon is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Transaction Strategy and Execution team in Copenhagen. You will work on complex, high-impact M&A and divestment engagements, from strategy through execution, and also contribute to team culture and the development of future leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct operational due diligence and value creation analysis, assessing standalone viability, cost structures and operational risks
• Identify, quantify and track revenue and cost synergies and embed them in value creation plans and integration activities
• Manage and drive workstreams across pre- and post-deal engagements, including deal strategy, governance, planning and milestone tracking
• Support business development through pitch content, proposals and client conversations
• Coach and support more junior team members and contribute to practice development initiatives

Required profile

• 3-6 years of experience in strategy and M&A consulting or in industry
• Experience in client-facing or in-house roles across the M&A cycle, such as carve-outs, operational due diligence, synergy assessment and deal management
• Analytical, structured and pragmatic, able to handle ambiguity and communicate complex ideas clearly
• Inclusive approach and strong relationships with clients and colleagues
