Sales Manager – Copenhagen

About the role

CVX Ventures is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its Danish office in Copenhagen. You will design and execute the sales strategy, drive commercial performance and ensure long‑term profitability while inspiring a high‑performance team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Danish market.
• Build a robust lead‑generation system and continuously exceed revenue targets.
• Recruit, develop and lead a top‑class sales team once growth milestones are reached.
• Participate in budgeting, set organisational goals and monitor KPIs, adjusting action plans as needed.
• Represent CVX at events, conferences and networking gatherings.
• Collaborate closely with other senior leaders and report directly to the CEO.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in venture capital, high‑growth startups or fast‑paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to sell and consistently achieve or surpass revenue targets.
• Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and a drive to be the best in the field.
• Proactive ownership mindset with excellent people‑focused leadership skills.
• Effective communication with senior management and board members, and ability to earn trust from business leaders.
• Excellent analytical and structured problem‑solving abilities.
• Humility and passion for building and scaling new companies.
• Fluent in Danish and English; a network within the Danish startup ecosystem is a plus.
