Sales Director Europe - Heat Exchangers

About the role

Danfoss Climate Solutions, part of the Controls and Thermal Management division, makes energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions for HVAC, refrigeration and industrial applications. As Sales Director Europe you will lead the European sales team for Brazed, Gasketed and Welded Heat Exchangers and help accelerate growth with existing customers and new markets. The role sits close to one of the main hubs in Kolding (Denmark), Kamnik (Slovenia) or Hamburg (Germany); remote work may be considered and relocation is open.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and empower a European team of technical sales engineers and business developers.
• Shape and execute sales plans based on market insights, customer buying behaviour and business priorities, working with regional and global stakeholders.
• Develop existing accounts and turn new leads, markets and opportunities into business growth.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular market engagement and by showing the value of the products and solutions.
• Drive a disciplined, data-driven approach using CRM, forecasting and sales processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent knowledge and experience, combined with significant experience in sales, engineering or business development.
• Strong commercial and strategic capability, able to analyse markets, competitors and opportunities.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC and/or industrial applications and markets.
• Flexible and resourceful approach to changing market conditions.
