Restaurant & Bar Manager

About the role

The Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Copenhagen is looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead its food and beverage department. The role combines strong leadership with a hands-on approach on the floor, working alongside the team during service and engaging directly with guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the smooth running of the food and beverage department, ensuring the guest experience meets the highest standards.
• Work on the floor during service and step in where needed to keep operations smooth.
• Be visible and engaged during service, interacting with guests and responding promptly to their enquiries.
• Manage the food and beverage team and foster a culture of growth, development and performance.
• Control costs and inventory and deliver on food and beverage initiatives and hotel targets.
• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and advance service standards, profitability and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and prepare for internal and external audits, following up on findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food and beverage service with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong managerial skills, with a hands-on, lead-by-example style.
• Willingness to work alongside the team on the floor and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Ability to find creative solutions and give advice and recommendations.
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in a demanding, team-based environment.
• Fluent spoken and written Danish and English.

Required skills

• Experience using IT systems on various platforms.
• Strong communication skills.
