On-call Chef

About the role

Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, is looking for an On-call Chef to join its culinary team. The role supports the smooth running of the kitchen department, where all aspects of the guest dining experience across the hotel are delivered to the highest level, and works within a team focused on guest satisfaction and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the kitchen department and deliver a positive, timely response to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Take responsibility for assigned duties and ensure they are done in a timely and professional way.
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives so that hotel initiatives and targets are achieved.
• Work with the immediate supervisor to control costs and inventory and to attain productivity and performance levels.
• Build effective working relationships while promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensure compliance with all legislation, with due diligence, best practice and documentation for internal and external audits, including follow-up as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a relevant role in a busy kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of assigned duties.
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
