About the role
The Institute for Political Science at the University of Copenhagen is seeking a motivated student to support two research projects on digital democracy and social media's impact on political representation. The position involves hands‑on work with data collection, coding, and analysis under the guidance of senior researchers.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in gathering quantitative and qualitative data for the ADVODID and SoMeRep projects.
- Perform data coding and preliminary statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with team members at the University of Copenhagen, King's College London, and Royal Holloway.
- Document research procedures and contribute to internal reports.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled as an active student at a higher education institution.
- Interest in political science, digital media, and democratic processes.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate hours with the project manager.

What we offer
- Hourly remuneration in line with the public sector collective agreement (minimum DKK 145.73 per hour).
- Flexible workload averaging about 3 hours per week, with peaks up to 15 hours.
- Opportunity to contribute to internationally funded research and co‑author publications.
