Master Thesis: Build a Product Lifecycle Intelligence Framework

About the role

Coloplast’s Master Thesis Program offers final‑year master students the chance to conduct research that directly impacts the company’s product lifecycle management. The selected project focuses on creating a Product Lifecycle Intelligence Framework to improve transparency and data‑driven decision‑making for legacy medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Map and assess critical data sources across design, manufacturing, risk management and improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate data quality, accessibility and ownership to build an end‑to‑end product view.
• Identify stakeholder needs and define governance structures for the framework.
• Develop a prototype dashboard or visualization concept that demonstrates integrated lifecycle data.
• Provide recommendations to support prioritisation, AI‑assisted decisions and future digitalisation.

• Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving abilities.
• Interest in digitalisation, AI, data visualisation and prototype development.
• Curiosity about product and data governance within lifecycle management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
